With the Titan, we have successfully achieved everything on our wishlist. First and foremost was to insure that the Titan could handle the weight capacity- here’s how we did it. The Frame has thicker tubing, the wheels and spokes are heavier duty, the seat frame as well as the rear seat attachment are now Steel instead of Aluminum as on our other models. The biggest issue by far though was the hinge. There are 2 competing issues with hinges- if you put the hinge on the top it is much easier to fold. If you put the hinge at the bottom it is much much stronger, but it makes it incredibly awkward to fold because you have to lift the hinge up from the center instead of just folding the rear wheel over the top. At Trident Trikes we always think outside of the box , so we thought- Why not BOTH?! And while we are at it- let’s make the wheel fold flat! We are pleased to introduce the rotating flat fold hinge. As you can see in the folding sequence, the Trike has a tube in tube design. First you release the locking mechanism, then you can rotate the hinge. Lastly once you have folded the wheel over, you can rotate it to do a flat wheel fold!! This gives us the strength to hold a 400 LB rider !!

The Stowaway models have always been Trident Trikes #1 seller. The Stowaway line offers an incredible component mix at a price other manufacturers can’t touch.. Both Stowaway models use our Powder Coated 4130 Cro-Moly Tig Welded Frame, as well as Avid Brakes/ Promax Levers with Parking Brake, Double Wall Alloy Rims , and Ackerman Compensated Crossover Steering, but that is where the similarities end. The Stowaway II is our High Spec Model. It has 30 Speeds (3 x 10) It uses a Microshift Front Derailleur and a Microshift Marvo XE CNC Machined Rear Derailleur. Shifting is done with Bar End Shifters. The Brakes are Avid BB7’s. The Cassette is a SRAM PG-970 11-36. The Crankset is a High End Forged Crankset with CNC Machined Rings, and an Integrated External Bearing Bottom Bracket. The seat frame, handlebar and boom are Sandblasted and Anodized Aluminum Alloy. The Stowaway II is available with you choice of either 170mm Cranks or with 160 mm Short Cranks. The Rear Tire on the Stowaway 24 is a Schwalbe Marathon. Also in Stowaway models– we don’t charge you for the extras!! Included with all models are a Rear Rack, a full set of 3 Fenders, a Safety Flag, a Mirror, and a Rear Light. NEW: 30 Speed Stowaway 2 with a 24? Wheel One of the most frequent questions we have gotten over the years is whether one of our Stowaway Trikes can take a bigger Rear Wheel. Up until now this has not been possible. We are excited to announce the new Stowaway II 24” . We have designed an extension kit that will also be retrofittable to most Stowaways built in the last 5 years. This kit is superior to other extensions we have seen due to the fact that it uses an oversize 12mm Thru Axle for rear wheel stability and that it raises the dropout for the wheel so that the Trike can remain at the proper angle. The Stowaway II with the 24” wheel and standard 30 Speed has a gear inch range of 19.9” to 113.2” . The new Stowaway II 24” is priced at $ 2299 with your choice of 170mm or 160mm Crankarms. We will also have a few available with 152mm Crankarms. Stowaway 24? and 26? Upgrade kits are available for any Stowaway Trike from 2015 to the present. You can check via your serial # which will begin with a number 15 or greater. The kits include a 24? or 26? Wheel including a Tire and Tube, a 24? or 26? Frame extension, a 12mm Thru Axle, a new fender, and a set of longer rack rods. You will need to move your cassette from the old wheel to the new. **Add $125 to price shown to cover incrued shipping costs

Steel Commuter and Gravel Bike Preamble is a hard-boiled steel commuter built for comfort, durability, and buffoonery on pavement and gravel. Nothing More is Needed. Nothing Less Will Do. The challenge was thus: Build a serious steel bike and give it only the attributes that matter most. Make it quick and comfortable on pavement, as well as confident and compliant on degraded surfaces. What the Enginerds put forth is Preamble, a pavement and gravel utility worker that proves you don't need to cut corners or clip coupons to make a more affordable steel bike. You just need to keep shit simple. Preamble can run racks and fenders and carry a couple water bottles. Surly was raised on stealing basic cable, after all. Smooth and efficient on asphalt, Preamble's double-butted main triangle provides a resplendent ride feel and withstands abuse from life's inevitable potholes. Make it your own with flat bars, drop bars, a basket, or bags. On the road to steel euphoria, Preamble is the gateway drug. Let facts be submitted to a candid world: - Offered in flat-bar and drop-bar configurations - Easy T-Shirt sizing to fit nearly every rider (XS, S, M, L, XL) - Sloping top tubes on XS and Small frames for improved standover and comfort - To offer the best rider experience for every frame size, XS and S frames get 650b wheelsets while M–XL get 700c - Custom-cast single-position vertical dropout

We think by now, most of you get what Straggler is. It’s a madly versatile bike that can be used for most types of riding and riding surfaces. Better still is that you now have the option of 650b wheel size. 650b wheels were popular for a long time many years ago on ‘Constructeur’ style bicycles and we all know how real stuff was back in the day…650b wheels strike a nice balance between the benefits of both 26” and 700c sizes. The smaller wheel allows smaller riders to fit well on smaller frames, produces a stronger wheel, makes fitting big-ass tires easier and are more agile than their larger counterparts. Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. It’ll accept rotors up to 160mm. The rear dropouts are unique, too. They’re a partially closed horizontal design that accommodates singlespeed or geared drivetrains. They feature stop screws that thread in from the rear to further secure the wheel and to position the rear wheel for optimal shifting, plus a forward-mounted stop screw on the drive side to keep the wheel from slipping forward under the force of your gargantuan legs. The rear dropouts are spaced 135mm instead of 132.5mm like the Cross-Check simply because there are far more options for disc hubs in this spacing. Straggler 650b has braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it’s ready to take you just about anywhere. It’s a day tripper and a weekender. It’s a ‘rough road’ road bike. It’s a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing. It’s a utilitarian townie. It’s a light-duty touring bike. It’s an all-weather commuter. And when you get tired of one set up, you can swap parts around and turn it into something else. We think that’s pretty neat.
$649.00
So what is this Straggler anyway? The easy answer is to say that we added disc brakes to a Cross-Check and this is close to accurate. People have asked us to make a disc version of our highly versatile Cross-Check for a long time now and almost everything about the two are very similar. Straggler is slightly different, though. The most obvious difference of course is that the Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. Straggler shares all of the Cross-Check’s braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. Lowside is the bike that gets you across town for a quick rip on singletrack, then over to the bar for a night out. Your BMX Bike All Grown Up Lowside is like the grownup version of the bike you rode when you were a kid and still had hopes and dreams and some semblance of ambition. It's just as happy riding singletrack as it is parked outside your favorite drinking establishment. Lowside is a single speed mountain bike. Singlespeeding has been a part of Surly's DNA since day one when we launched the 1x1 Rat Ride. After a lot of Homie Fall Fests and more feats of strength than we can recall, we decided to discontinue it a couple years back. Lowside picks up right where the 1x1 left off. "Some have dubbed the Lowside the ultimate pub cruiser." - Modern trail standards: dropper post compatibility, 44mm headtube, Gnot-Boost rear spacing, thru-axles - Compatibility with most mountain bike standards makes it the perfect parts bin bike (no rim brakes allowed though) - Spec'd in alternating years with 26 x 3" or 27.5 x 2.8" tires, the Lowside remains capable of running either option
